By rounding down OUR fares, we are being UNDERPAID on average .49 cents a ride, can you afford that? If you can't, then its up to you to be proactive and make your objections heard. Seriously, HOW IS THIS LEGAL? Rates are posted and agreed to by ALL USERS of the platform. We ARE NOT receiving just compensation for our time, effort, expenses, and use of our equipment, according to the published rates in actual fares, and then we are further penalized when Lyft takes its commission cut, WHICH IS NOT ROUNDED DOWN. Yes I am shouting, its because some of you need to wake up. I challenge you all to take the next 7 days and monitor each ride and make a note of the ACTUAL cost of each one and how much YOU ARE NOT BEING PAID. In most cases, at the end of a week, you'd get a tank of gas out of it, at least. The sad thing is, this is a no brainer, no apple carts to upset, RATES ARE AGREED TO. Lyft please pay us what we are entitled to.
