So I sent an email to drive@lyft about my app not letting me sign out of driver mode. This is an issue when i do a drop off at the airport b/c i do not want to do pickups so i usually logout immediately upon drop off until i get back to the highway.
Lately my app shows i'm logged out but then i'll get a request. The problem is i never really know if i logged out or not and at LAX i'll almost always get a request after ending the previous ride. My question to support was getting this waived as it is an app issue, not me missing a request and this is what they said...
"Thank you for contacting us about this. We understand that there may be circumstances from time to time that can prevent you from being able to accept every request, including connectivity trouble or the app freezing. The acceptance rate is an automated metric, so there is no way for me to go back and adjust for you.
Keep in mind that the calculation is based on your rides, cancelations, and requests over the course of the entire week. So, if you continue to give more rides and accept all requests, it will bring your rating up. One low rating day does not necessarily knock you out of the Power Driver Bonus running for the entire week."

Automated metric? Please explain. All metrics should/need to be adjustable, i feel like this response was very dismissive.
The fix is to hard reset my phone but when i logout of driver mode each day, i shouldnt have to do a hard reset of my phone each time to avoid getting requests i dont want (just in case the app is glitching again)...
