An Uber driver was stabbed multiple times and robbed when he pulled over to ask directions early Tuesday in South Los Angeles.
The attack was reported near the intersection of Hoover Street and 61st Street at around 4 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The victim in his mid-50s was hospitalized in what authorities described as stable condition.
The stabbing and robbery occurred after the driver pulled over to ask directions on his way to pick up a client, according to Los Angeles police. A female was arrested and booked on suspicion of attempted murder, police said.
A male attacker is being sought in connection with the attack.
